Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Participants in the building process are constantly challenged to deliver successful projects despite tight budgets, limited manpower, accelerated schedules, and limited or conflicting information. The significant disciplines such as architectural, structural and MEP designs should be well coordinated. Building Information Modeling aids in collision detection at the initial stage, identifying the exact location of discrepancies.

The use of BIM is the backbone of new, leaner design and construction methods such as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). The ability that BIM provides to design, construct and operate a building virtually will prove to be an important instrument to increase productivity while at the same time improve the quality of work.

Centroid has been a niche player in the industry and for the last ten years has been working globally with various AEC industries. Our approach envisions technology as a business process enabler.
